This one-bedroom apartment with a study and bathroom was reworked for a couple, with a strong focus on material quality, bespoke detailing and considered interior design. The project brings together Venetian plaster, natural heated floor tiles and custom joinery to create a highly resolved interior.
Venetian plaster extends into the shower, with new external windows and rear doors improving the connection to the outside. Custom architectural elements, bespoke joinery and carefully selected finishes feature throughout. Access, neighbours and the coordination of multiple specialist trades created challenges during construction, particularly as materials and finishes evolved throughout the project. The compact apartment required close management of each trade and finish to achieve the high level of detail specified.
