Ground Projects is a building partner working alongside homeowners, architects and designers to deliver architecturally designed homes with the highest level of precision, craftsmanship and collaboration.
At Ground Projects, collaboration starts from the ground up. We take the time to understand the vision behind each home, and work closely as a team to protect that vision through every stage of construction. From the first meeting to the final handover, we create a genuine partnership built on transparency, trust and shared ambition.
Our team
Ground Projects is a hands-on team of experienced builders and construction professionals who genuinely care about the work we do. We work closely with our clients, architects and designers throughout the process to create well-considered homes that are built to a high standard.
We believe good communication and attention to detail make all the difference. From the first conversation through to handover, we’re approachable, straightforward and focused on finding solutions when challenges come up.
For us, it’s about more than just building a great home. It’s about working with good people, enjoying the process and building relationships we’re proud of along the way.
Harrison Marsh – Director + Builder
Harrison founded Ground Projects on a simple premise – that transparency, considered collaboration and uncompromising craftsmanship shouldn’t be the exception in residential construction. He has built his reputation on long-standing client relationships as much as the homes themselves. Harrison is a true advocate for sustainable building. Alongside Ground Projects, he is the Co-Founder of Australia’s first prefabricated hemp SIPs, Living Canvas as well as Otetto, a company delivering sustainable off-the-plan, architecturally designed homes.
Outside the business, Harrison spends his time with his young family and looking for the next adventure outdoors, whether that’s rock climbing, fishing or exploring off-road tracks.
Chris Ball – General Manager
Chris brings years of experience in high-end residential construction to his role as General Manager, with a career built around precision, craftsmanship and detail-driven builds of the highest standards. He works closely with homeowners, architects and consultants to keep every project running smoothly and executed with an uncompromising standard of excellence. His leadership style is grounded, solutions-focused, and driven by a genuine commitment to delivering homes that are both beautifully crafted and built to last.
Outside of work, Chris channels the same discipline and determination into competing in global triathlon and aquabike events — a reflection of his resilience, focus, and drive for continual improvement.
Elliot Marsh – Head of Construction
Elliot Marsh is Head of Construction at Ground Projects, overseeing the delivery of high-end residential projects from pre-construction through to completion. With a strong understanding of build sequencing, coordination, and on-site execution, Elliot plays a pivotal role in ensuring each project runs smoothly and efficiently.
Working closely with homeowners, consultants, and trades, he is committed to maintaining clear communication, programme integrity, and the highest standard of workmanship throughout every stage of construction. As a trained architect, Elliot ensures that design intent is realised with precision and care.
Amanda Marsh – Brand
Amanda shapes Ground Projects’ identity, voice, and strategic direction. She ensures every touchpoint — from digital presence to project presentation — reflects the calibre of homes the team delivers. Amanda works across homeowners, architects, and industry partners, to bridge the gap between communication and construction.
