This first-floor Bondi apartment was fully renovated for a young couple, ready for their future family. Working with designers Woods & Warner, Ground Projects stripped the approximately 20-year-old apartment back and reworked it with a relaxed coastal farmhouse aesthetic. Simple, repeated material choices keep the home bright and light-filled, with detailing that responds to both its seaside setting and farmhouse references.
The apartment and balcony were completely gutted, re-waterproofed and refitted, including new ceilings, floors, power, fixtures and fittings. Working within an existing apartment building created access challenges throughout construction, requiring careful coordination of materials and trades. The home’s underlying services were also upgraded as part of the renovation, extending the lifespan of the apartment.
